Called after fall in the position of attention is as follows; Head Erect, Eyes in the Boat, Chin in, Shoulders back, Chest out, Stomach in, Heels together, Feet at a 45° angle, Arms hanging naturally at your sides, Palms facing inward, Thumbs on the seams of your pants, Fingers at a natural curl
The position of parade rest is called once at attention; you put your feet shoulder width apart, arms going behind your back right hand over left and thumbs up and crossed, your eyes in the boat.
Once you've come to attention and the command Dress Right, Dress is called, you will put up your right arm and look to the left. If there is no one on your left you will put up your hand and look forward, if there is no one of your right you will just look left and keep your arm down.
While at attention and the command Left, Face is called you will lift the ball of your left foot and the heel of your right and turn to the left, after completing the turn you will bring your feet back to a 45-degree resuming the position of attention.
While at attention and the command Right, Face is called you will lift the ball of your right foot and the heel of your left and turn to the right, after completing the turn you will bring your feet back to a 45-degree resuming the position of attention.
While at the position of attention and the command About Face is called you will lift your right foot , placing it about 6 inches behind your left and spin around clockwise, your feet should land back into the position of attention.
Once in the position of attention the command Forward March will be given, you will always step off with your left foot and stay in step with the cadence provided by your platoon commander.
Once you're marching and given the command Column Left, you will do the following: one at a time, in each row, led by a squad leader, you will do the following.
Squad 1: one 90-degree turn
Squad 2: one 45-degree turn, take two steps, take another 45-degree turn
Squad 3: one 45-degree turn, take four steps, take another 45-degree turn
After all, you will go into half-steps.
Once you're marching and given the command Column Right, one at a time in each row, led by a squad, leader you will do at follows
Squad 1: one 45-degree turn, take four steps, take another 45-degree turn
Squad 2: one 45-degree turn, take two steps, take another 45-degree turn
Squad 3: one 90-degree turn
After all you will go into half steps
Once you're marching and the command To the Rear is called on the right foot you will take one more step and then turn around clockwise, once you make the 180-degree turn you will continue marching as before.
As you're marching and the command Left Flank is called, it will be on the left foot, you will take one more step and then the platoon will take a 90-degree turn to the left at the same time.
The turn will happen on your right foot
As you're marching and the command Right Flank is called, it will be on the right foot, you will take one more step and then the platoon will take a 90-degree turn to the right at the same time.
The turn will happen on your left foot
As you're marching and the command Change Step is called, it will be on the right foot, you will take one more step and then take a 'skip' like movement to skip and step and change the cadence in which you were marching before.
When marching and the command Eyes Right is called rows one and two will look sharply to the right and hold it until the 'Ready Front' command is given, they will then look forward. Row three will continue to look forward the entire time. All squads will continue to march as they are looking in the specified directions.
Similar to a left flank, when the command Left Oblique is called the entire platoon will take a 45-degree turn to the left at the same time, a right oblique will be called after to straighten out, these are used to quickly avoid objects.
Similar to a right flank, when the command Right Oblique is called the entire platoon will take a 45-degree turn to the right at the same time, a left oblique will be called after to straighten out, these are used to quickly avoid objects.
