The purpose of JLA is to develop confidence and knowledge to become effective leaders not only in their home units but in all aspects of their lives. Our JLA will employ a “cadet-led, instructor-coached” philosophy of equipping cadets in their positions of leadership as they carry out the plan of the day. Instructors will teach the modules/classes and provide ongoing mentorship throughout the week. This approach will yield a more rewarding experience and establish a pathway for basic cadets to return to JLA as cadre
